The year is almost over but the amount of tech upgrades that are continuously being released in the market continuously seem to be overwhelming! In the past few months, we’ve seen the first 11th Gen Intel processors in the Philippines, webcams hidden within keyboards, and trackpads that can turn into a numeric pad to name a few! So before 2020 comes to a close, let’s take a quick look at five of our favorite ASUS laptop finds to help users narrow down their choices for specific needs:
The ASUS VivoBook S14 bears the new Intel Iris Xe graphics in its i5 variant and even though the i7 is a better option, its i5 variant is able to show off an FHD 60FPS gameplay on select titles while also having a competitive battery life. Both i5 and i7 features an Intelligent Performance Technology (AIPT) for optimized power and performance. It has a lightweight chassis and it only weighs 1.4kg, making it easy to carry around. This 14” laptop can also easily fit in a backpack or a tote bag! It has a USB-C port, which is widely being used today, too.

A good choice for people who value portability, clear cameras, and fast charging! It has Windows Hello, which can be used to easily unlock our laptop through facial recognition, plus, it’s only 1.11kg light and 13.9mm thin but it has almost all the I/O ports that we need for work and play. Running on i7, the Zenbook 13 has 2 NVMe SSDs and 8GB 4266MHz LPDDRX4 memory and storage for all the files we need. It’s also commendable that the ZenBook 13 has two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports that support fast charging so we won’t need to bring bulk chargers with us everywhere we go. These are just some of the features that we love about it but you can also check out the full specs in our previous blog post.
