One thing that I’m thankful for in 2018 is the opportunity to explore different scents that help lighten my mood – may it be through the use of scented candles, humidifiers, oils, and even perfumes. This December, I discovered one more addition to my scent collection that perfectly fits my mood whenever I feel the need to add a feminine touch to my body and it’s made by the very talented Indonesian actress and singer Titi Kamal (who looks like Philippine celebrity Erich Gonzales)!
The Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist, a product out of Althea’s first ever celebrity collaboration, mixes fruity and floral scents that are not overbearingly strong yet leaves a statement. A whiff of the scent will give you hints of sweet orange and peach but it’s the rosy floral notes that linger for a long time.

- Damask rose water – Similar to the Petal Velvet Sunaway line, the Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist also uses damask rose for its properties that keeps the skin hydrated while still maintaining a gentle fragrance.
- Orange flower extract – Citrus scents are well-known for refreshes the senses.
- Elder flower extract – According to Althea.kr, elder flower extracts can cool and soothe the skin.

HOW TO USE?
It’s really easy, just like any other perfume. Just spray it all over your body in a light layer (around 5 spritz) before you head out the door. I also put some on my wrists and gently pat them on my neck underneath the ear areas. You may touch up after 6 hours or as needed.
IS IT WORTH IT?
For its price, I’d say the Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist is already worth it. It’s more affordable but it doesn’t last as long as high-end perfumes. For what it lacks, it makes up for in its formulation. The non-sticky formula and skin-friendly ingredients are a sure win, especially for an urban femme. The scent is also quite unique since it isn’t too strong but it manages to capture people’s attention. On the first day that I used it, I already had people asking me what type of perfume I’m wearing.
In terms of packaging, I’d give it a solid 10 because I’m not a fan of mists placed inside fragile bottles. Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist is easy to carry, just the right size for my hand, and it can fit in anyone’s handbag or purse. A 100ml bottle is already good enough for a month or two – depending on how often you use it.
