Let the food hunt begin! We heard that there are restaurants within Bonifacio Global City that will be offering new dip-and-dish creations this June, and each has been created by top names in the culinary industry – Chef Fernando Aracama, Chef Sau del Rosario, Chef Rob Pengson, and Chef Kalel Chan. The four chefs teamed up with Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) to launch their limited-edition dip-and-dish creations made with Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise, which will be made exclusively available at their restaurants for only two weeks, starting June 1.

Here’s a roundup of their creations, and where you can find them for your next dinner or night-cap:

Garlic Parmesan Fries with special Bull’s Eye dip (left) and Sweet Potato Chips with Smoked Bangus Dip (right)

Chef Fern offers a creative take on the classic Bangus tinapa with Smoked Bangus Dip — a smooth & flavorful dip with umami rich premium smoked milk fish enriched with Lady’s Choice Mayonnaise, a touch of tart Greek yogurt, fresh lemon juice & zest, green onions and togarashi spice. The delicious dip pairs perfectly with a bowl of crispy taro & sweet potato chips, perfect for the adventurous palate, available at Aracama Manila.

For the perfect night-cap at Early Night?, Chef Fern will be serving his Garlic Parmesan Fries with a special Bull’s Eye dip. This is a creamy savory dip with mayonnaise, flavored with sweet roasted garlic in extra virgin olive oil. A punchy tomato jam with smoked chipotle peppers give the fun dip a warm contrast that works wonderfully when dipped with parmesan-tossed fries.

He shares, “On its own these two dips are great but when you combine them together it just becomes fantastic! It’s an updated version of my childhood comfort food. With Lady’s Choice at the delicious core of the dishes, it instantly gives dips its full, rich flavor with a smooth and creamy finish.”

Aracama Manila and Early Night? is located at The Fort Strip, 5th Avenue, Corner 26th Street, BGC.

Thai Soft Shell Crab with Asian Aioli

A potential crowd-favorite to be served at the hip and trendy James and Daughters restaurant, Chef Rob Pengson’s creation — the Thai Soft Shell Crab with Asian Aioli is infused with Thai herbs, tamarind glaze and a miso mayonnaise with Lady’s Choice. The fresh and aromatic blend of Asian spices gives the dish just the right balance of earthy flavors with a crunchy and tangy kick.

When asked what the inspiration was behind his concept dish, Chef Rob shared, “I’ve always loved Asian flavors because it’s so easy to play around with, you can put together a variety of dishes depending on what flavor you want to come out. The crunch of the Soft-Shell Crab and the mayo go so well with each other, it’s comforting and unintimidating. Thai flavors infused with the crab compliment the dip, plus the miso ads umami flavor that gives it the extra oomph.

Order this exclusive Thai Soft Shell Crab at James and Daughters Restaurant, G/F The Westin Residences, Manila Sonata, 21st Drive, BGC.

Kang Kong Moringa Tinapa Melt Dip with Mushroom Chicharon Chips (left) and Fried Sinigang na Bangus with Salted Egg Mayonesa (right)

Guaranteed to intrigue with its powerful and creative use of flavors, Raintree Restaurants’ Corporate Chef, Kalel Chan, has whipped up a Kang Kong Moringa Tinapa Melt Dip with Mushroom Chicharon Chips. The Kang Kong Moringa puree blend with cream cheese and Lady’s Choice Mayonnaise, gratinated with cheddar cheese and served with a fried lightly-coated oyster mushroom, is perfect for the health-conscious snacker. Chef Kalel’s Fried Sinigang na Bangus with Salted Egg Mayonesa is a colorful masterpiece and fresh creation made with egg dressing topped with tomato, red onions, spring onions, egg yolk and egg whites. It’s too pretty to even take a bite!

Compared to the traditional mayonesa, I made it a little bit creative by adding salted egg dressing instead of plain mayo and a hint of sinigang flavor into the daing na bangus. I envisioned to offer something a group of friends and family would enjoy, such as the mayonesa since it’s usually served in gatherings. Balancing it off with a healthier dish alternative makes the dining experience a bit guilt-free,” shared Chef Kalel.

Hurry to Friends & Family and Coconut Club for these limited-edition dishes located at G/F Bonifacio Central Square, 7th Street, BGC.
